Valentine’s Day can be an especially difficult and triggering time for women who have experienced domestic violence. Feelings of loneliness, pain and questions about worth can be heightened during a season that often centers on romance and relationships.

Valentine’s Day Is for Everyone is a special celebration created to communicate a different message—that every woman is valued, worthy and deeply loved. The event provides a warm, welcoming environment where women are showered with encouragement, care and thoughtful treats, reminding them they are not forgotten or alone.

The Biola University Center for Marriage and Relationships (CMR) is honored to partner with OC United, a local nonprofit serving women impacted by domestic abuse, to help support and bless the women attending this Valentine’s Day gathering. Together, we hope to offer a small but meaningful experience of dignity, hope and love.
